Kids’ parties can get a little crazy sometimes! One way to make this look as though this was the aim (!) is to give your party a princess party circus theme.

This is a wide theme which doesn’t restrict all of the attendees into coming as princesses (particularly useful if you have some boys coming too).
It also increases the numbers of games that can be played. Who wants to play Big Scary Lion? Who wants to play Clown Tag? All sorts of everyday games can be varied into the circus theme. And the best thing is that the children can decide what everyday games they want to play (which they then decide how to be made into a circus theme).
Big Scary Lion is a circus version of ‘what’s the time, mr wolf?’ and Clown Tag is a circus version of regular tag (but with people running like clowns – unless, of course, you find clowns scary…)!
