My girls love baking. One of their favorites is to bake cookies in different shapes, like animals or flowers. I usually add some food coloring to make them look extra special, and the girls adore decorating them with colored frosting and edible glitter.

A theme that is always popular with girls is to have a tea birthday party.
Although it might seem obvious that tea is needed, this is not so, as a tea birthday party is characterized by having adult-type food and drink in child-friendly (and tasty!) portions. You could even spice it up by having an Alice in Wonderland theme with fancy dress.

If the girls coming to your party don’t like tea, why not make some fruity drinks which make it look they’re drinking tea? Naturally, these are served from a tea pot. Small sandwiches, cakes, fruit and other treats are also made to accompany the ‘tea’.
