With the winter fast approaching and the darker days with us (if you’re reading from the southern hemisphere, maybe bookmark this post for your winter!), it’s really fun to have some slumber parties, where the girls can exchange scary stories and sip hot chocolate while it rains outside.

However, this isn’t enough for a slumber party, so you’ll need some slumber party games for kids to keep them entertained. One such game is Scary Story!

Each girl takes it in turns to say three words, with all of the girls telling the story. No one has any idea where the story could take them, but it should be decided upfront whether the story is a scary story or a non-scary story. If you like, each girl can have a secret mission to steer the course of the story towards a particular storyline, with the others guessing which girl has which mission. This uses their creative minds and is great fun to listen to!
