If you’ve got girls staying over for a slumber party, it’s a great idea to include some slumber party crafts to keep them entertained. Activities where children get involved are much better than activities where children are passive (e.g. just watching a dvd).
The great thing about slumber parties is that they can be longer than normal parties, so there’s more choice of which crafts you can include.

Cooking crafts are great for slumber parties, as they’ll let you bake some cookies or other treats to snack on later. I’ve also had pillow crafts, where each girl is given a new (freshly washed) pillowcase, some fabric paint and markers, and allowed to decorate the pillowcase that will cover the pillow they will sleep on. This should be done early enough to ensure that the paint dries fully.
