To encourage your partygoers to expend some of their pent-up energy, it’s a good idea to incorporate some outdoor party games.
However, it’s key for these to be outdoor party games children will love.
‘Tag’ is a traditional favorite, though I find that my daughters always love playing role-playing games with a bit of physical activity. For example, sometimes they are pirates straned on an island and they have to find some buried treasure (i.e. sweets or fruit hidden by me earlier in the day) to survive. Sometimes they are stranded princesses in need of refreshment.
The key ingredient is that you have hidden some treats in the backyard. You can then encourage the children to let their imaginations take off!
