An essential component of holding a mystery party are mystery party scripts.
Girls simply love role playing and getting into character, so the script could either be a full length script or short enough to give the girls an idea of what their character is like. This will then allow them to be as imaginative as possible; making it fun for everyone!
A box of old clothes and fabrics is a great way to let the girls accessorize their new characters, and it’s completely up to you what the actual mystery is. Sometimes it’s better to focus on the girls creating their characters, rather than worry about coming up with a mystery. If you’re stuck, perhaps one of the girls is really a princess or has been selected to go to ballet or rap school!
