One of the classic indoor party games for kids is musical chairs. How many of us have not played it?!
Set out some pairs of chairs (or pairs of cushions on the floor) in a line, with one less seat than the number of girls playing. Play some music and have the girls dance around the seat. When the music stops, the girls must rush to sit down and the one who’s last is out. On each round, one of the seats is removed until just two girls are playing for the one seat.
It’s good to incorporate some variations on this tried and tested game to make it unique to your party/theme.
One way of doing this is to allow the girl who was not able to sit to challenge one of the seated girls to a dance-off or sing-off, which can be judged by the other girls (maybe as to who was the best singer/dancer, or who was most like the artist whose song was sung/danced to). The winner will then be allowed to sit down.
