Outdoor Team Games

Outdoor team games are an excellent way of involving as many children as possible. They are also a very good way of encouraging all children to play and engage with the game; it will not just be you encouraging less enthusiastic ones to play, but other members of their team will too.

If desired, the girls can suggest additional rules which can make the games more unique and special for them.

The basic message is to keep the games as simple as possible; you don’t want the girls spending half the time trying to figure out what the rules are rather than actually playing!

Outdoor Thanksgiving Games

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, it’s a great idea to up the ante and give your children some fun outdoor Thanksgiving games to entertain them.
Obviously, the weather is becoming a little less predictable at this time of year, so be prepared to have some blankets on hold! With this in mind, encourage your children to get some fresh air and run about.

You could play Turkey Tag, where one person is the tagger (the Farmer) who has to chase and try and catch the others. The children running away are turkeys, so must obviously not be caught by the Farmer for fear of becoming Thanksgiving dinner!

Awesome Outside Party Games

by Party Games For Girls

in Outdoor Party Games

To introduce a bit of variety to the next birthday party you hold for your child, try to include a few outside party games.

These will help the group release some of their pent-up energy, and let you prepare the party room for other games later on.

A party game which my daughters love to play outside is a twist on the normal Scavenger Hunt.

Run!

Instead of searching for treats, each person has to find an item which has been assigned to them. The quicker they find it, the more points they get. If they find someone else’s item, they have to tell an adult who will add bonus points to their score (but they must not hide the other child’s item in a different place!).

Points convert into prizes.
