An excellent way to ensure the party you’re planning is different from the (many!) others your guests will go to is to involve some crafts and activities. These can range from baking and dressing up teddy bears to painting pictures, decorating a wall in your garage or decorating a tree in your yard.
If your party has a theme, the crafts and activities can be centred around it. You could even have a playdate set in advance that all the guests can come to where they make their own costumes that they’ll wear to the party the following week. You can ask the other moms to supply their daughter with the necessary materials, or you could go through your closet and find clothing you never wear.
It’s all about engaging the children’s interests and inspiring them.
